A planned gift is one of the most impactful ways you can support Habitat’s critical work in Bucks County.
Many of our supporters leave gifts to us in their wills or estate plans so they can do even more. You can, too. You’ll be helping to build the community you love for years to come.
If you wish to name us in your estate plan, we should be named as:
Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with principal business address of 539 Jacksonville Road, Suite 100, Warminster, PA 18974.
Our tax identification number is: 23-2607106
Date of incorporation: June 13, 1990.
If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free distribution from your traditional or Roth IRA to Habitat Bucks. It’s an efficient way to support the causes that matter to you most. You can donate up to $100,000 each year without incurring income tax on your withdrawal.
Here’s the process:
1. You direct distributions in the amount of your choosing from your traditional or Roth IRA to Habitat Bucks. This can be a one-time or recurring gift.
2. The distributions go directly to Habitat Bucks and are not subject to federal income tax.
Have you already made a gift to us through your will, retirement plan, or insurance policy for the future of our community? If so, let us know so we can thank you and welcome you to the Dream Builders.
Take care of the community you love and your heirs by making Habitat Bucks a full or partial beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified retirement plan. The taxes applied to your retirement plan assets may be different than you imagined—in fact, using retirement assets to make a donation and leaving other assets to your heirs often enables you to give more to your heirs. You can also name Habitat Bucks as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
A Charitable Gift Annuity is a gift that gives back. It can provide you and/or another beneficiary with stable income for life. You may also receive an immediate income tax deduction.
Here’s how it works:
We want everyone to know as much as possible about how carefully and effectively Habitat Bucks puts your donations to work
