Faith in Action
Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent are partnering on a FAITH BUILD to help a local family in need of safe, affordable housing. We invite you to join this partnership powered by people and passion and help us raise walls, funds and prayers right here in Bucks County!
GIVE
We have asked the community to help us raise $100,000 to support this home. Every donation counts!
We recognize that every congregation is different in size and has unique resources. Become a project sponsor, purchase Wall of Hope studs, or host a fundraiser of your own to help reach your fundraising goal. Every gift—large or small—makes a difference!
SERVE
We will need volunteers, Wednesday-Saturday, to build. All skill levels are welcome—no experience necessary.
Ages 16-17 must build with their parent supervising them; or age 18+ . Please note: reserved Team Build Days are a benefit for financial sponsors, however individual opportunities will be available throughout the project. We also invite you to provide lunches and snacks for on-site workers. We estimate 7-10 meals/day. Feel free to be creative.
PRAY
We understand the power of prayer and welcome yours.

You may choose to pray privately or as a congregation, or even form a prayer group for Habitat Bucks’ homebuyers and mission. There are also opportunities to lead a devotion or prayer each morning at the construction site, at events and the home dedication.
CELEBRATE

Meet the Family!
Damian and Joanne share a small, two-bedroom apartment above a meat shop in NE Philadelphia with their young sons. The boys sleep with their parents to avoid the heavy smoke coming into their apartment from their neighbors. Once they move into their new home in Morrisville, the family will have more time together because Damian will spend less time commuting to work. What a blessing!
