Women Build
Women Build is designed to create a community of women dedicated to changing society for the better. It aims to address the lack of affordable housing locally and globally, an issue which disproportionately affects women and children. The event is entirely planned, fundraised for, and publicized by women, and empowers them to build by teaching them construction skills in a supportive environment.

Fall Women Build-a-thon! (October 2009)
Thank you to our Women Builders for your participation in Habitat for Humanity's Fall Women Build-a-thon! In just four days at The Stitchery, we were able to drywall seven rooms on the second floor and complete nearly all the framing in one of the first-floor units. Women Build Wine Tasting (September 2009)
Our 2nd annual Wine Tasting was a night of fun and cheer! Attendees sampled great wine and food, listened to music and heard inspiring words from Marilyn Russell of 95.7 BEN FM and our Habitat Partner families that brought the heart of the message of Habitat’s work home for all of us!
Lookaway Golf Club (September 2009)
Thank you to our friends at Lookaway Golf Club for choosing Habitat’s Women Build program to be the beneficiary for their Member Guest Event on September 16th. They raised $1100 and fulfilled the wish list of our crew leaders with tools, supplies and gift cards!
