ReStore

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are retail outlets where quality used and surplus building material and home items are sold at a fraction of normal prices. Proceeds from ReStores help local affiliates fund the construction of Habitat houses within the community. Many affiliates across the United States and Canada operate successful ReStores—some of which raise enough funds to build an additional 10 or more houses per year!

Materials sold by Habitat ReStores are usually donated from building supply stores, contractors, demolition crews or from individuals who wish to show their support for Habitat. In addition to raising funds, ReStores help the environment by rechanneling good, usable materials into use.

> Shop the ReStore Wednesday, 9am - 5pm; Thursday and Friday, 9am - 6pm; Saturday, 9am - 5pm.
> Donation hours at the ReStore are Wednesday through Saturday, 9am - 5pm.  We cannot accommodate donation drop-offs beyond these hours. Donation receipts will not be given for items which are not received by a ReStore staff member.

A note for customers and volunteers:  If the ReStore is closed due to inclement weather or holidays, this page will be updated with the closing information.

  • The ReStore wants to thank all who participated in our first and second 50% off Pajama Day sale.  We hope you all enjoyed the incredible pricing discount.  This tremendous sale will happen sometime next year, 2011. In the mean time, please come back and visit us, because our prices are the best around.
  • July is a patriotic month. If you're wearing red or blue, or buying something red or blue, pick up your coupon at the register for 20% off your purchase.
  • Paint will remain at 75% off this month.

Have you been wanting to join Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County in going green but you don't know how?
Help us fill our paper recycling bin (located near the ReStore entrance).  Please remove covers from all books, and remember that no cardboard, plastic, or materials other than paper can go in the bin.

>  Volunteer!  With the ReStore comes lots of new non-building volunteer oppurtunities. If you've always wanted to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, but your schedule or skills hasn't allowed for onsite construction work, now is your chance to get involved! Volunteer tasks include unloading deliveries, cleaning and testing donations, stocking merchandise and assisting customers.  Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. >  Donate!  Items that we can accept as donations include: building, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping and mason materials; appliances (in working condition and less than seven years old); furniture in excellent condition; tools; home décor items. Additionally, our ReStore Manager has a wishlist of items needed for the operation of the store:

  • PALLET JACK  (NEW OR USED) 
  • Carts to hold windows on to transport from one place to another
  • Shopping carts
  • Rolling carts to dIsplay merchandise 
  • Flat cart on wheels
  • Heavy shelving for merchandise
  • Cleaning supplies (Windex, Pledge, papertowels, disposable cleaning wipes, latex cleaning gloves, buckets, janitor's mop and bucket (new), etc.

Please be aware that we are unable to accept:

  • Mattresses and box springs (we can accept bed frames, head boards or foot boards).
  • Upholstered items with any rips, stains, holes, or odors in the fabric.
  • We do not take any fabric items, such as clothing, blankets, pillows, etc.
  • Anything that is rusty, broken, missing parts or is very used.
  • Toys or childrens items i.e. cribs, changing tables, strollers, high chairs etc.
  • Blinds, shades and unframed mirrors. 
  • TV's that are not more than 2 years old (the sticker on the back has the date on it.)
  • Sewing machines
  • UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE WE CAN NOT ACCEPT CANS OF PAINT. 
  • Windows and doors will be at the discretion of the Habitat employee.
  • Computers and their components not more than 2 years old.  (the sticker on the back has the date on it.
  • Remember everything is sold “as is," so it must be complete, resalable and in sanitary condition.
  • NOTE:  We will take anything with metal for recycling including appliances that no longer work.  Please tell the Habitat employee if the appliance is not in working order.
