Habitat Bucks Needs Volunteers!
Volunteers are crucial to the success of Habitat Bucks and are involved in every aspect of the organization. We rely on their dedication and passion for our organization.
Home construction is one way to become involved with Habitat Bucks’ work. We rely on volunteers to help us complete our building projects. No previous construction experience necessary. We welcome individuals and groups to join us as we build 5 townhomes in Sellersville, PA — Dates will be posted when space is available–Thank you for your continued support!
Volunteers MUST be 16 or older. All volunteers must be scheduled in advance.

Current Volunteer Needs
Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
ReStore Volunteer There is always a need at the Habitat Bucks ReStore in Chalfont. Volunteer tasks include unloading deliveries, cleaning and testing donations, stocking merchandise, and assisting customers. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. AM and PM Shifts available Wednesdays thru Saturdays.
Family Support Committee Members The Family Support Committee works to enhance each Habitat family’s experience by providing emotional and informational support and serving as a resource for other services. Members partner with families from the time they are accepted into Habitat Bucks’ homeownership program until they have been living in their home for one year. They meet monthly at the Habitat office in Chalfont to plan workshops and social activities and take an active role in fundraising to cover the costs of these educational and social events. Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.
Speaker’s Bureau The Speaker’s Bureau is made up of volunteers who represent Habitat Bucks in the community at churches, events, and other local functions. A two hour training is required – new members are needed.
Habitat Bucks Young Professionals We want to hear from YOU!! Are you between the ages of 20 and 39 and are interested in generating awareness for the need of affordable housing in the Bucks County area? Habitat Bucks Young Professionals are volunteers that network and socialize within the community. You can make a positive impact through organizing special events and fundraisers, learn new skills, and develop stronger social networks.
