WELCOME
Daniel Gicuki, Salome Thiga and their children, Brian and Bernice, moved into their home after settlement on April 11th. Moving from a one-bedroom apartment to an end unit in Emerald Hollow has given them the space they need as a family.
Jeannie Horst moved into her home following settlement on June 20th. She is enjoying the freedom that homeownership provides, and making friends with her neighbors.
Daniel Karanja, Milkah Kaguima and their children, Irene, Alex and Charles, settled on their home August 6th. They moved from a two-bedroom apartment to a three bedroom townhome. They are paying less for their mortgage than they were paying in rent.
Corey and Marybeth Fisher, along with their children, Rebecca and Madelyn, have made Emerald Hollow their home, where there are lots of children and a lot of room to play. They went to settlement on their home August 11th, moving from a small apartment to an end unit with three bedrooms.

THE KINDT FAMILY REFLECTS...
Dear Habitat for Humanity
of Bucks County,
Time has passed quickly , but our gratitude
has remained.
For those Habitat for Humanity members
that might remember out time together...it’s hard to believe
it will be five years in February2005 that my family moved into
our wonderful home at 211 Wood Street, Bristol. It was a dream
come true then, and I continue daily to experience daily to experience
appreciative awe as I ponder my blessings. It is a dream that
would not have come true without the generous giving of time,
money and individual skills and dedication that you so selflessly
showered upon us.
My home has turned out to be everything
I thought and prayed it would be, When I originally applied to
Habitat for Humanity for assistance in acquiring a mortgage, my
strongest motivation was my desire to provide my children with
safety and security following the death of their father. As basic
as this desire was, it was something most likely unattainable
for me by more traditional means. By your hard work and effort,
I have continued on towards this dream.
The home is truly my own now...wallpaper
(only I can love) in the kitchen (applied with skills I learned
working with all of you). The perfect color paint to go with it
in the living room, etc. Something else I’m very proud of...a
garden of grasses and perennials that comforts your soul when
you sit in it on a fine summer day. This backyard is where God
first “spoke” to me about the house, where he revealed
his glorious plan for my family...so you know it is very special.
I close by wishing all of you well and
once again expressing my deep felt love and gratitude for each
and every one of your efforts."
Fondly,
Peggy Kindt and Family
